Just around the corner from Amagerbrogade, “Vertikal Have” will fill in today-“hole” in the classic Copenhagen street profile. The new building’s design is respectful of the existing context - closing the large block volume and recalling the classical windows and facade details -, but at the same time increases its architectural quality.

“The new extraordinary green facade creates a pleasant microclimate, contributes to biodiversity and conveys a green and innovative narrative to the existing context.”

In addiction to the spectacular green design, the building brings a wide range of sustainable initiatives, such as wood facade cladding and rooftop gardens.

The new building will host 16 attractive new youth housing, in close relation to the vibrant life of the big city.

Vertikal Have wants to offer young people a healthy and sustainable environment through high-quality apartments, made of sustainable materials and with the opportunity of their own minimal garden in form of integrated plant cassettes.

“With the new building, Amager will be given a new landmark by virtue of its honest detailing and innovative approach to sustainability.”
