WAN Bronze Medal for Bavnehøj Youth House

Bavnehøj Youth House has won bronze in the 2019 WAN Awards, within the section “Wood in Architecture”.

The project has distinguished itself among many imaginative others, previously shortlisted for this award. Certified quality wood and a meticulous attention to the smallest detail are key points of the project. The most singular aspect of Bavnehøj Youth House is its sun-screening lamella façade: through a complex variation of composition, it offers an always different experience from each point of view. 

It’s an honor to have been awarded together with Longfu Life Experience of LUO Studio and International House Sydney designed by Tzannes, winner of the gold and silver medal within the same category!
