Vinge is one of the projects that are part of the framework agreement for total consultancy for Domea.dk that WE Architecture is carrying out in shared total counselling with Mangor & Nagel.

Vinge will become a mixed and vibrant new city in Frederiksund Municipality. This is the clear vision for one of Denmark's largest urban development projects with a total area of 370 hectares and an expected future population of up to 20.000 inhabitants. To create a diverse district, 3 public housing areas are placed among 4 private building lots, so that social housing areas are mixed with private residences. Creating attractive public housing has been the focus for both clients and counsellors from the very beginning of the project. The ambition is, that social housing helps to drive a development able to welcome everyone and with several different forms of living.

The ambition for Boligselskabet Rosenvænget, part of Domea.dk, is to create modern public housing, which contributes with diversity, good opportunities for community and quality outdoor areas. In addition, there has also been the ambition to achieve high architectural levels of space definition. WE architecture has especially taken care of design, being responsible for the design of all facades.
