WE are fascinated by the word ‘regenerative’.

It’s a concept that goes beyond just reusing or recycling – it’s about building in a way that gives back. We strive to create architecture that’s flexible, adaptable, and even able to evolve over time. For us, that means circular thinking and materials that, one day, can return to nature instead of a landfill.

We believe in design for disassembly, where a building isn’t just a finished product, but a dynamic structure that can shift with the needs of the future. Whether it’s choosing materials that respect the environment or designing with human well-being at the center, every project is an opportunity to create spaces that are as thoughtful as they are functional. We’re constantly asking ourselves: How can this building continue to have a positive impact, even decades from now?

On top of that, we believe that the culture in our studio needs to embody these values, too. So we eat vegan for lunch, take daily breaks for some fresh air and a round of ping pong, and now and then, Cecilie stops by to offer a calming sound bath (still working on getting that morning meditation and yoga going – it’s a work in progress!).

To us, regenerative design isn’t just a trend – it’s a way of life, shaping both our architecture and the way we work, so that we all thrive along the way.
